Another post (Figure 26) compared an old photo of the candidate Amtar Al-Miyahi from 2012 with a
more recent photo from 2025 and states that it is difficult to tell which image is the older one. 44 The
comparison is framed as a reference to cosmetic procedures rather than her political work or
campaign.

A further post (Figure 27) reposted an old video in which a candidate discussed broader political
developments unrelated to the current election, without indicating that the footage was outdated,
creating the false impression of a recent campaign statement, thereby misleading contextualization
through deliberate temporal manipulation. 45
