This research was based on an online survey titled ‘Household responsibilities during the COVID-19 lockdown distributed via Google Forms and filled out by respondents in May 2020.and Research shows that women’s economic empowerment is not only central to realizing gender equality but directly impacts economic growth. Women’s higher labor force participation means higher productivity, increased economic diversification and positive development outcomes. Additionally, the economic empowerment of women increases their access to and control over productive resources and enhances their economic decision making at all levels.
